AC Milan finishes preseason undefeated: with a 3-1 victory over Monza - during the second edition of the Silvio Berlusconi Trophy - the Rossoneri achieved their fourth win in five matches this summer. The only 'obstacle' was the first match against Rapid in Vienna (1-1), as pointed out by Milan News.
The improvements since that game, aside from fitness and the players available, already seem to be numerous and positive. So much so that today Corriere dello Sport writes: 'Milan is already prepared for the championship.'
The headline reads:
"Spectacular football and many applause at San Siro for the 2nd Silvio Berlusconi Trophy between Fonseca's team and Monza of former Rossonero Nesta."
Then we also read the following:
"Morata was immediately fielded from the first minute as the pinnacle of the 4-2-3-1. The Rossoneri took the lead with a rabona by Saelemaekers, an equalizer scored by Daniel Maldini assisted by Vignato. Then goals from Jovic and Reijnders."
Starting Saturday, against Torino, however, things will get more serious.
