Venezia player, the 24-year-old left-winger, Bjarki Bjarkason, has undergone surgery for a back problem and will therefore miss the match against Milan at San Siro on September 14.
For the Icelander, who has not yet made an appearance in Serie A, the recovery time will be about 4-6 weeks.

"Bjarki Bjarkason has undergone surgery for bilateral sports hernia. The procedure, performed via videolaparoscopy by Dr. Sansonetti in Milan, was perfectly successful. The recovery time will be 4-6 weeks."
