"Reijnders is a beacon. Fonseca is sure: hierarchies established"
This was the headline which the 'Corriere dello Sport' published this morning, explaining that Tijjani Reijnders also shines with his national team.
The Dutchman, who is 26 years old, scored a goal against Bosnia and Herzegovina and provided an assist for Gakpo's goal. In Paulo Fonseca's plans, the former AZ Alkmaar player will have a central role in his Milan, paired with Youssouf Fofana.
Reijnders comment after the match...
The Dutchman commented on the 5-2 Nations League victory against Bosnia, in which he also scored, in an interview with Uefa.com: "I am always happy to score. We could have scored more, but it was a good start. We wanted to find ourselves between the lines, and I think we did that well. Only sometimes the final pass wasn't there, but this is how we want to play."
