Venezia's head coach, Eusebio Di Francesco, commented on the 4-0 defeat against Milan at San Siro last night.
The Italian tactician said the following words:
"We were really naive, we scored on ourselves. We conceded 4 goals in the first 4 chances, there are no excuses. I saw fragility, we need to work in this direction on the mental aspect. We got discouraged and lost focus."
He added:
"I have doubts about Milan's first penalty, the one on Abraham. The guys train hard, but both they and the fans need to understand that Serie A is very different from Serie B. There are great players who won’t forgive and will punish you at the first mistake."
Di Francesco continued:
"You can lose at San Siro, but not like this. Let this be a lesson for us, but we can’t let ourselves be beaten down. It’s only the fourth matchday of the season, and we need to react in the next game."
