As per the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, AC Milan coach Paulo Fonseca’s future will be decided by Sunday’s derby.
There is also a power struggle among the directors behind the choice of a potential replacement. At the moment, Sarri, an Italian, is the frontrunner, as he knows Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Alvaro Morata well thanks to his experience at Chelsea.
The former Napoli coach, Maurizio Sarri, however, is not a fixer and cannot guarantee an immediate turnaround. He also doesn’t have an easy personality. But one advantage is his salary, around 3 million euros.
This is why Zlatan Ibrahimovic is pushing for Igor Tudor. Then there is the highly motivated Allegri, who is still in the race. However, Massimiliano Allegri is not Ibra’s favourite (to put it mildly), but CEO Giorgio Furlani is definitely considering him.
