Speaking live during the evening edition of Sky Sport Italia, Italian journalist Emanuele Baiocchini spoke about the meeting at Milanello between Ibrahimovic, Moncada, and the team.
Here's what he had to say:
"This morning at Milanello, Ibrahimovic and Moncada were also present. So, the Milan management, the Rossoneri management, the technical staff, were all at Milanello. We are learning to understand their 'modus operandi' (method of working): they usually come to Milanello during delicate moments, the most important times of the week or month."
On the duo's visits to Milanello:
"They visited a couple of times during derby week, and they came today despite the match against Lecce being, on paper, a simpler game compared to the one played against Liverpool, against Inter, or the one Milan will play against Bayer Leverkusen next week. But they wanted to be at Milanello, they wanted to follow the entire training session from the sidelines, and they wanted to talk to the team to emphasise that the match against Lecce is crucial to maintain momentum; otherwise, the derby victory would be meaningless."
