Christian Pulisic is in a 'Midas' moment. Everything he touches turns gold.
The American winger is currently in, as he once again found the net on Friday night, delivering yet another solid and convincing performance, proving himself as a true technical leader.

Against Lecce 3-0, the former Chelsea man scored the third goal. After Alvaro Morata opened the scoring with a precise header and after the Leao-Theo duo crafted the second goal, Milan completed the triple within less than 5 minutes: a central drive by Morata, an assist for Abraham who hit the post squarely. The ball, however, after another sure-shot attempt (saved by Falcone) from Tammy Abraham, ended up at the feet of Christian Pulisic who, from that position, just a few steps from the goal, couldn’t miss, sealing the final 3-0.

Pulisic, the best player of Serie A:
It is like a demonstration of his status as a modern Midas: always in the right place, at the right time, on every single occasion. He seeks the ball, craves it, desires it, and Pulisic is always ready to put it in the net. But from Midas, he didn’t only inherit the golden touch, but also the crown, the scepter that crowns him as the best player in our Serie A. Since last season (2023/24), in fact, no Serie A player has contributed to more goals across all competitions than Christian Pulisic: 33 (20 goals and 13 assists), tied with Lautaro Martínez (29G + 4A), the striker and captain of Inter. It’s understandable, then, that the transfer market rumours are heating up for the former Borussia Dortmund player.

Interest in Pulisic from the Premier League
The former Chelsea player, in fact, has caught the eye of Liverpool as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah, should the Egyptian leave at the end of the season (his contract expires at the end of the season, on June 30, 2025).
The American started his season at Milan, scoring four goals and providing two assists in the first six Serie A matches. His performances haven’t gone unnoticed in the Premier League, and Liverpool (whom Milan will face in the League Phase of the Champions League), as reported by the British press, is willing to more than double the 20 million euros fee – reaching even 50 million euros – that the Rossoneri club paid for his transfer in July 2023.
Let’s remember, Pulisic has a contract with the Rossoneri until 2027, with an option to renew for another year. Salah might be in his final year at Liverpool, and for this reason, Liverpool are exploring opportunities across Europe (also waiting to see what impact Chiesa will have in England), and Pulisic is at the top of the board’s wish list, even though the 1998-born player is very happy in Milan, feels like a leader, and has no intention of leaving the Rossoneri.
It will take a crazy offer to make the Milan club hesitate, as they, in the meantime, enjoy their own King Midas, Christian Pulisic.
