Immediately after the Milan - Napoli match at the San Siro stadium, Carlo Pellegatti spoke about the 0-2 defeat:

"In these moments, dear friends, I never take off my (Milan) scarf—in fact, I wear it even tighter. But being 11 points from the top is a heavy blow, and Milan is at risk, if not already, of getting pulled down to mid-table. This defeat began on Friday, continued at Milanello with Gabbia’s injury, then Pulisic’s illness, and some might say it was sealed tonight with Leao’s exclusion. Another divisive issue, among many that now split the fans. But on one thing, many fans are united—the regret of not having Antonio Conte, who could have been the spark we needed at this moment. This is one of the major criticisms leveled at the directors and ownership."
Pellegatti added:
"As for Fonseca, I can't say he didn't field a determined team. It was a team that fought but obviously lacked the quality to challenge Napoli. We’ll see if any decisions are made and what might happen next. The important thing is that Milan, which has lost 30% of its first 10 games, three losses in total, hopefully can start patching things up, getting its players back, starting with the Monza match. But undeniably, we didn’t expect, on October 29th, to be 11 points from the top. There were already early signs of a challenging season, and now it's confirmed to be an incredibly tough one."
