AC Milan obtained the full points away from home against Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League group stage. The Rossoneri secured a victory with a 3-2 result which was not exactly convincing.
After the match, Juraj Kucka, Slovan Bratislava's defensive midfielder, and former Milan player, spoke about the match and said the following words:

"We believed in it. Later, we made a few mistakes where Milan scored—that's how it went. We fought until the very last minute and gave it our all. We wanted a positive result for ourselves too, but we didn’t manage it. We’ll move forward," he told SportMediaset.
On Rafael Leao, Kucka said:
"I said he's a great player. Even the assist he received was stunning. However, we made many positional errors."
On Milan’s defensive phase and overall performance:
"That happens; it's part of the game. In my opinion, they had control of the match for all 90 minutes. Our quality isn’t at their level, and that’s why we started with the idea of defending well, staying tight and compact, and not leaving spaces. We did that fairly well, and we have players upfront who can make a difference, that’s how we played."
On the Milan fans’ greetings and personalised chants at the end of the game, Kucka commented:
"I didn’t expect it; I was too surprised and happy. I felt the affection they showed me, and it was wonderful."
