Paulo Fonseca spoke after the his team's loss against Atalanta 2-1 at the Gewiss stadium.
The Portuguese coach shared his thoughts, particularly regarding the first goal conceded by the Rossoneri:
On the match:
"We played a good first half, but then we spread out too much and couldn’t find Rafa and Morata. Unfortunately, that’s where the game changed. We needed to do better in the second half, but we dropped too deep."
On Ruben Loftus-Cheek:
"Loftus came on well, but the problem isn’t him. We need to be perfect in all areas, yet we lost possession too many times."
On the refereeing, Fonseca said:
"I’ve always kept quiet. I understand the referee’s job is difficult, but Milan deserves more respect. This referee did not show respect. The first goal was a foul; this is a lack of respect for us," he told Milannews.it.
