AC Milan won with difficulty against Red Star Belgrade last night at the San Siro in the Champions League competition. The result is 2-1, but the head coach, Paulo Fonseca, was not happy with how the team played (read his statements HERE).

What are AC Milan players ratings against Red Star Belgrade?
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition, the best player on the pitch was Rafael Leao, who scored the opener. He earned a rating set at 7.5.
French midfielder and English striker have also done very well, the first made an assist while the latter scored the second crucial goal. Both earned ratings set at 7.
AC Milan's goalkeeper Mike Maignan, Matteo Gabbia, earned 6.5. The same rating was shown also to Francesco Camarda who came very close to scoring his first goal with the senior team. But, the same action led to Tammy Abraham's goal in the final minutes of the match.
Malick Thiaw earned a rating of 6 for his efforts last night. Same can be said also about Tijjani Reijnders, Alvaro Morata who was forced to leave the pitch in the first half due to injury, and also Samuel Chukwueze.
Davide Calabria, who looked visibly upset when Fonseca chose to replace him during the match, earned a rating of only 5.5. Theo Hernandez continues to struggle: he was shown a rating of 5.5 by the newspaper.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek who was also injured and left the pitch in the first half as well, received a rating of 5.5, too.
Who was the worst player for AC Milan in the Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade?
It was Yunus Musah who failed to make a positive impact, unfortunately for him. He earned a rating of just 5. He starts wide on the right, then moves into the attacking midfielder role. Not flashy and loses the ball that leads to Red Star's equaliser. A bad mistake.
