As reported by Giovanni Albanese in his editorial on the Sportitalia website, Juventus is in search of a central defender for January and has received a potential opening from Milan for Fikayo Tomori, but only under the condition that the Bianconeri commit to purchasing the English player (or at least provide a guarantee to do so in the near future).

For the Rossoneri, either a permanent transfer or, at most, a loan with an obligation to buy would be acceptable.
These are days of deliberation for Juventus, but the Tomori option is gaining traction, particularly because it would allow Thiago Motta to bring in a defender who is already familiar with Serie A and would not require an adaptation period.
Addressing the Tomori rumors linking him to Juventus, Paulo Fonseca said in a press conference yesterday at Milanello:
"We haven't spoken about Tomori—it's news to me. It's a normal situation; if we need to talk about it, then we will. Tomori is a great professional and an important part of the team. Whether he's playing or not, he works the same way, and for me, that's crucial. He has played, he has been on the bench, but his attitude has never changed. Players like that are very important for me, not just the ones who play all the matches. Tomori is important to me. I can’t say if he’ll play tomorrow or later, but for me, he is very important."
