These days, there is much talk about AC Milan's renewed interest in Randal Kolo Muani. According to transfer market rumors, the Rossoneri club managers would like to provide their new coach, Sergio Conceição, with a central striker who possesses his characteristics.

Born in 1998 and part of the French national team under head coach Didier Deschamps, Kolo Muani had already caught Milan's eye in 2022 when he was playing for Nantes and was about to leave on a free transfer. However, nothing came of it, with the Rossoneri ultimately opting for Divock Origi instead.
Kolo Muani then moved to Eintracht Frankfurt and, just a year later, returned to France's Ligue 1 to wear PSG's jersey in a deal worth €95 million. However, in the French capital, he has struggled to make his mark, and now, during the winter transfer window, he could be on the move again.
Who else wants Kolo Muani besides Milan?
Nicolò Schira, an Italian journalist, confirmed that the Rossoneri club has inquired about Kolo Muani. However, he also revealed two significant obstacles in the negotiations: fierce competition and a salary beyond the club's budget.
"Several clubs have asked for information regarding Kolo Muani, who is ready to leave PSG in January," Schira wrote in a post on his official account on the popular social network 'X'. "Manchester United, Chelsea, Milan, Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, Juventus, Tottenham, Arsenal, and Galatasaray are monitoring the striker."
"He has a high salary, (€8 million per year) and PSG has no intention of covering part of it."
Therefore, it remains to be seen which club will be willing to invest so much, even for a loan deal. Objectively, it seems quite unlikely that it will be Milan.
