Gianluca Di Marzio reported on AC Milan's interest in Saba Goglichidze, Empoli's defender, yesterday, January 10.
He mentioned that the Rossoneri are trying to anticipate the competition by making an attempt to sign him and leave him on loan at Empoli for the remainder of the season.
The plan would be to bring Goglichidze to Milanello during the summer transfer window.
According to 'Geo Team,' a portal highly attentive to transfer market news, especially concerning Georgian players, AC Milan is about to make an offer to Empoli for the defender.
This is expected to happen in the coming days, and the Rossoneri are reportedly ready to pay the 15 million euros requested by the Tuscan club for Saba Goglichidze.
The first contact is said to have occurred four days ago, when the Rossoneri informed the Azzurri of their intention to initiate negotiations for the transfer.
"Milan will make first offer for Saba Goglichidze in the coming days. The Rossoneri first contacted Empoli 4 days ago and informed them that they'll start official negotiations with them for the transfer of Georgian. Empoli demands 15 million euros and Milan is ready to pay."
