For Milan, a heated January transfer window is on the horizon. With Noah Okafor now on his way out, heading to RB Leipzig following yesterday’s agreement between the two clubs on a loan deal with an option to buy set at over 20 million euros, the Rossoneri's management will look to add a new attacking player to Sergio Conceição’s squad.
For days, the main name linked to Milan has been Marcus Rashford, the English forward set to leave Manchester United, though there is strong competition for him.
Meanwhile, according to the latest reports, Federico Chiesa has also been offered to Milan. The former Juventus player is struggling to find playing time at Liverpool, and there has been talk for days about his possible return to Italy.
Milan's response so far, however, has been lukewarm, as the club does not appear to be interested in the player.
In recent hours, his agent, Fali Ramadani, has downplayed the rumors, explaining that the Reds have no intention of letting him leave just six months after his arrival in England:
"Liverpool has no intention of giving up on the player. Federico will remain at Liverpool and is working to find opportunities to play in the future. This is what I can confirm for now", were his words, as relayed via Tuttomercatoweb.com.
