Despite Milan's disappointing draw last night against Cagliari, transfer negotiations dominate today’s discussions, particularly the Marcus Rashford deal, which could gain momentum in the coming hours.
Journalist and director of Tuttomercatoweb, Niccolò Ceccarini discussed the latest developments at the Rossoneri club in his customary Sunday editorial.
Here's what Ceccarini's said:
"Milan is actively working, particularly to provide Conceicao with another striker. After finalizing the transfer of Okafor to Leipzig on a loan with an option to buy for €25 million, the main target has become Marcus Rashford. Manchester United is ready to let him go. The player is no longer central to Amorim’s project and is therefore seeking a new destination by June. Contacts with Milan are ongoing."

He continued to talk about interest in Marcus Rashford:
"There has already been an initial meeting with the player’s brother-agent, during which the Rossoneri outlined their sporting project. Naturally, there is the issue of wages, but it’s an obstacle that can eventually be overcome. There is significant competition for Rashford. In the Premier League, West Ham has shown great interest, and Borussia Dortmund is also keeping a close eye. The situation should become clearer soon."
Ceccarini also touched on other mercato matters of AC Milan:
"The Rossoneri club is in talks with Roma to try to finalize the futures of Abraham and Saelemaekers in advance. The Giallorossi are satisfied with the Belgian winger, and the English forward could also be a valuable addition for the future. The goal is to determine if there is room to turn the two loan deals into permanent transfers."
