The departure of Noah Okafor could turn into a great deal for Milan.
Yesterday morning, the Swiss player flew from Linate airport to join his new team, RB Leipzig.
In the afternoon, he underwent medical examinations, and the contracts were signed: the terms of the deal (a loan with an option to buy) were confirmed, but the figures are slightly higher, almost two million euros for the loan and 26 million euros for the option to buy, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition.

If the Germans exercise the option, it will be a significant capital gain for the Rossoneri, reaffirming the soundness of the investment made in the summer of 2023, despite the less-than-stellar numbers Noah accumulated with the Rossoneri shirt: seven goals, one of which came in the 2024-25 season, in 52 appearances.
"In life, you never know, maybe we’ll meet again. For me, this was the best choice. Thanks to Milan fans, I leave a place that will forever be in my heart," the forward told Sky.
Now, he will aim to revive his career in the Bundesliga, where he will have the chance to fully recover after the injury that sidelined him in recent weeks at Milan.
In fact, he never trained under Conceição, but parting ways was the best solution for both sides. Moreover, Leipzig showed a strong desire to bet on him.
With Okafor's departure, Milan will save on a net salary of two million euros per season (half of it for now) and free up a spot on the UEFA list for the arrival of Rashford or another winger.
The next player to leave Milan is expected to be Luka Jovic, who is still searching for a destination.
