Kyle Walker is officially a new AC Milan player as of last night.
According to the press release issued by the Rossoneri club, the former Manchester City full-back joins Serie A on a paid loan deal with an option for a permanent transfer.
As per the main transfer market reports, the agreement includes a loan fee of 1 million euros, with a buyout option set at approximately 5 million euros. For the English defender, a post-buyout contract is ready, running until June 30, 2027, with an annual net salary of about €4.5 million.
Calcio & Finanza estimated the financial impact of the Walker deal on Milan's budget. Specifically, the Milanese club will bear an expense of approximately 5.7 million euros, covering the loan fee and the remaining six months of his salary, estimated at around 2.5 million euros net (4.6 million euros gross).
Should the buyout option be exercised, the overall cost will increase for the subsequent seasons. Between amortization and salary, the budgetary impact will be 10.8 million euros for each of the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons.
