Enzo Bucchioni, speaking on Radio Sportiva, commented on Milan's negative period, as they come off three consecutive Serie A defeats against Torino, Bologna, and Lazio:
"The team is in disarray because the club lacks clear ideas, and the squad senses it. The coach has not been protected during this period. There is no understanding of what the club is doing. And everything else stems from that."
Arrigo Sacchi also commented on AC Milan's situation in La Gazzetta dello Sport's pages and said the following:
"I remain convinced that everything depends on the decisions made in the summer during the transfer window. Decisions I’ve always judged wrong, because they hired a coach (Fonseca) who didn’t have the full trust of the management, and they brought in players who weren’t suited to his playing style. Under these conditions, it’s hard to do well. And Conceição inherited a team he didn’t build and, so far, hasn’t been able to instill his own style."
