Following the submission of the dossier by Inter and Milan for the purchase of the Meazza and the surrounding areas, the municipality's public tender will be launched soon.
"It could be published within a few weeks if we want to stay on schedule and finalize everything by the summer," explained Mayor Giuseppe Sala on the sidelines of an event at the Longevity Summit. "If everything goes as I expect, that dossier will serve as the basis for launching a public tender. We are required to do so, and I believe it will last about thirty days. I think that area should be dedicated to the stadium, so the teams' offer will at least be favored, but we will go ahead with the tender."
Regarding the 300-page document submitted by the clubs, Sala added, "We are reviewing it in detail. It does not specify the total investment that the teams will make but acknowledges the valuation made by the Revenue Agency, which has never been disputed. It also delves into technical matters, so we are analyzing it."
