Mexico defeated Canada 2-0 recently and thus secured a spot in the final of the CONCACAF Nations League, where they will face Panama, who a few hours earlier had beaten the United States of Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah 1-0 thanks to a stoppage-time goal by Waterman.

There will therefore be no highly anticipated all-Rossoneri clash between the two Americans and Santiago Gimenez, the Mexican team's striker, who started against Canada and remained on the field for 80 minutes before being replaced by Quinones.

The match between Mexico and Canada was decided by a brace from Raul Jimenez, the Fulham forward.

  • Third-place final: March 23 at 11:00 PM (Italian time) – Canada vs. USA

  • First-place final: March 24 at 2:30 AM (Italian time) – Mexico vs. Panama.

What are Santiago Gimenez' numbers this season with Milan?

The 23-year-old Feyenoord centre-forward has made two appearances in the Champions League this season with the Rossoneri team, scoring one goal against his former team, Feyenoord. In the Serie A, he made seven appearances with two goals and one assist to his name. He also played in the Italian Cup competition, providing one assist in the process.

The player is working hard to prove himself in Italy. He already showed his talents in front of the goal and can do even more once he is fully settled and in complete harmony with the instructions of the coach and playing style of his teammates.

The left-footed Mexican with Italian roots is represented by Rafaela Pimenta and stands at 183 centimetres tall. He was signed by AC Milan in the winter transfer window from Feyenoord for a fee reportedly around 32 million euros. According to Transfermarkt, his value is currently set at 37 million euros. He certainly has the potential to grow even further.

Santiago Gimenez is key to Milan's attack, but is a backup is needed?

Yes. With Tammy Abraham's future unclear, and Francesco Camarda needing more playing time elsewhere on loan to develop his skills, a reliable forward might be what is needed at Milanello for next season. By the way, for fans eager to follow the thrilling developments of Milan’s season and international finals like Mexico vs. Panama, platforms like Mostbet Egypt offer an exciting way to stay engaged with the action.

Speaking of Gimenez again, and according to what has been reported by those at Tuttosport recently, there are two names who attract the interest of AC Milan:

  • Lorenzo Lucca:

A 24-year-old Italian player who stands at 201 centimetres tall. The right-footed talent currently plies his trade for Udinese under a contract which is valid until the summer of 2028. He has twelve goals and two assists so far this season in thirty one appearances. His value? 18 million euros, as per Transfermarkt.

  • Nikola Krstovic:

Also a 24-year-old striker from Montenegro. He plays for Lecce and has a contract which is running until June 30, 2027. He is right-footed and stands at 185 centimetres tall. So far this season with Lecce, he made thirty appearances with eleven goals and three assists to his name. According to Transfermarkt, he is valued at 6 million euros.
