Franco Baresi, honorary vice president of Milan, gave an interview to those at Rai Sport.
What kind of derby was it?
"The derby was a good match, balanced. Milan played a good game, compact, with sacrifice. It's a shame we didn't win, but we respect Inter. We will try to qualify in the return leg."

Is there hope for the final? Baresi answered:
"Milan has shown that they can compete on equal terms with Inter; we have always managed to cause them problems. There is positivity and hope. We must be aware that it will be a very difficult match; the derby is always very open. We will fight until the end," as relayed via Milannews.it.
How do you come out of this season?
"We must always remember who we represent and who we are. Even this year, we have often shown that we are up to the level of the best, but we need more consistency in performances and results."
