In the post-match coverage of Bayern Munich vs Inter in the Champions League, aired on Sky Sport 24 last night, former Milan, Lazio, and Premier League striker Paolo Di Canio spoke about Sandro Tonali and imagined a future for him that he himself described as difficult to realize:
"The ideal player for Inter is named Sandro Tonali, even though I know it's unrealistic. He wants to return to Italy."

Di Canio was immediately interrupted by Zvonimir Boban, another great former Rossoneri player and executive. He said the following:
"No, stop right there. It’s a very painful conversation. I don’t think so anyway—Marotta has been clear, the philosophy has changed. Inter is becoming like Milan in terms of management."
