Al Ahli Saudi player, Merih Demiral, interviewed by Gianlucadimarzio.com. Here are his words:
“Football here in Arabia is growing rapidly. There’s a strong energy here, but every experience for me has been unique and I’m happy to have played in different countries. But now I’m still young and for me this is a great opportunity.”

Demiral added:
“Milan? I was very close to Milan, but after speaking with my current club, we decided not to go play there. Milan is a great team, and I’d like to work with Pioli one day. Even four or five years ago, when I was at Juventus, I was very close to Milan. At the time there was Maldini, but afterwards nothing came of it.”
Demiral concluded:
"I was also close to Inter but nothing happened because Atalanta preferred not to let me go." Then he pauses for a moment, stares straight ahead: “A return to Italy? We’ll see, in football you never know what can happen.”
