Just a few days ago, people were talking about Massimiliano Allegri, about the players he requested, the possible formation, and the objectives to be achieved. Today, instead, the talk is about Maurizio Sarri, a coach already linked to the Rossoneri and once again emerging ahead of the summer. But not only that, because Vincenzo Italiano is also on the list, a coach who, among other things, Milan will have to face in the Coppa Italia final against Bologna. So many names, we don't even dare to add those mentioned in the past, and so much confusion for a bench that, in case anyone didn't know, is currently occupied by Sergio Conceicao.

It seems absurd, but that's how it is. The Portuguese coach is still leading the Rossoneri. The former Porto boss is still refining a formation that seems to have found its balance, he has already lifted a trophy, the Supercoppa in Saudi Arabia (after beating Juventus then Inter in the final), and is aiming to lift another one in less than six months.
In these cases, perhaps, a bit more respect would be needed for a man who arrived at Milanello at the end of December and who played his first match not even in Italy, but in Saudi Arabia. A bit more consideration would be needed for a man who had to deal with a complicated situation that did not, and still does not, concern only the pitch.
Despite disappointing results and some poor performances, Sergio Conceicao is still the coach of Milan and someone within the Rossoneri club should make that clear.
Geoffrey Moncada tried, reiterating that the club is satisfied with the work done so far, but even in this case Milan’s usual communication gap is evident. It wouldn’t take much, just putting a full stop at least until June would suffice. Then, everyone will be evaluated and the best decisions will be made, but in the meantime Milan is fighting for a place in Europe and a second trophy in the course of the worst season in recent years—something that, in case anyone forgot, hasn't happened in 18 years.
