AC Milan continue to search for a new head coach and further talks are scheduled this week with different candidates: Oliver Glasner, Matthias Jaissle, and Ruben Amorim has also been added to the list.
AC Milan's talks with Glasner, Jaissle and Amorim - Fabrizio Romano's words:
"Tomorrow, Friday, there will be new direct talks at AC Milan with the more serious and involved coaches. Clearly, the club is working primarily on the head coach issue. In recent hours there has been talk that Glasner is one step away from AC Milan and close to completion. At the moment, those close to Glasner are still waiting for feedback from AC Milan. We can say that Glasner has given priority to AC Milan over other opportunities, but he is awaiting responses. Glasner will certainly be one of the candidates who will meet AC Milan’s management again in the coming hours. The same will happen with Matthias Jaissle; as far as I know, there has already been a meeting this week between Jaissle and AC Milan, and there will be another one. There is an issue: he is under contract with Al-Ahli. He would need to be released and a compensation fee paid to the Saudi club."
"Oliver Glasner, Matthias Jaissle, and I'd also include the name of Ruben Amorim. He was approached by AC Milan during the week. Those close to Ruben Amorim confirm direct contacts and that these contacts will continue. Ruben Amorim will also have new contact with AC Milan’s management. We will see who comes out on top, we will see what managerial and technical decision AC Milan makes, but Amorim’s name should also be added to those who will have further contact with AC Milan."
