Carlo Pellegatti, journalist, expressed himself this way on his YouTube channel, commenting on Milan’s decision to entrust the Rossoneri bench to Massimiliano Allegri:
“I had called for him, they followed me and the opinion of many: there was no need to skimp on investments to get Allegri. And in fact, with five million plus two in bonuses, they’re getting close to Allegri’s standard salary. Then, with Conte staying at Napoli and Inter uncertain about Inzaghi, Milan sped things up."
Pellegatti added:
"In a few days, Milan changed strategy: it’s unrecognizable compared to the past few months. It’s a Milan that’s fast, ready. A deal had never been concluded this quickly in recent times.”
