According to what Claudio Raimondi reports on SportMediaset, after Luka Modric, Milan wants to finalize another experienced signing for the midfield, namely Granit Xhaka.
The Rossoneri have offered 10 million euros to Bayer Leverkusen, but the German side wants a little more. The Germans are not interested in including Malick Thiaw in the deal, as they are evaluating other profiles for the defense. Still aiming to strengthen the midfield, Milan is working to try to get Javi Guerra from Valencia: the gap between the offer and the demand is 4 million euros, given that the Rossoneri has raised their offer to 21 million euros, including bonuses. The Spaniards’ request remains fixed at 25 million euros.

On the departures front, it remains to be seen what the future holds for Alvaro Morata, currently on loan at Galatasaray until January 2026. The striker is in contact with Como and Cesc Fabregas: if they were to reach an agreement on the salary, the Biancoblù club could also decide to purchase him outright from Milan, who would collect around 14 million euros.
