The week that could definitively mark the end of Theo Hernandez’s adventure at Milan has begun.
After days of contacts, negotiations, and phone calls, Al Hilal has stepped up their efforts for the French full-back, presenting a very lucrative offer to the French player. The final agreement between the two clubs is still missing, but the feeling is that the deal could be fully closed in the coming hours, with Theo set to say goodbye to Milan after five intense and impactful seasons.

Milan, for its part, has acknowledged the player’s desire to embrace a new challenge, despite having made a proposal which, if compared to a few years ago, now appears meager in light of Theo’s value in recent seasons.
It is the sign that a cycle has come to an end: Theo was a symbol of Milan’s rebirth, a key figure in the 2022 Scudetto win, and capable of winning over the fans with his devastating bursts of speed. Unforgettable was the goal against Atalanta, in one of the most important matches in Milan’s recent history.
Now, however, it seems time to look ahead. Milan is already working to find a worthy replacement, aware that the left flank will be without one of its most talented players in recent years. The negotiation with Al Hilal therefore represents not only the end of a journey but also the beginning of a new phase for Max Allegri’s team, which will have to reshape itself without a key piece of its lineup.
A few more days will be needed to iron out the details and reach the final agreement, but the direction is now clear: Theo is preparing to move to Arabia, with Milan set to receive a fee of around 25 million euros.
