Cesc Fabregas’ Como will welcome in the coming hours the Spanish talent born in 2005, Jesus Rodriguez, and also wants to make progress on the other targets it has set. The hottest axis is with Milan for Álvaro Morata and Malick Thiaw: the Spaniard is only waiting for Milan and Galatasaray to resolve the loan deal so he can sign for the Larians, while the situation is more complex for the German defender.

An agreement between Como and Milan was reached on the basis of 25 million euros, including bonuses. The deal was struck last week, facilitated by Thiaw’s desire to try a new professional experience after very difficult recent months with the Rossoneri. Malick has set a clear priority for his future: he wants to return to the Bundesliga because he is convinced he’ll have more chances of being called up to the German national team. Or at least of playing in one of the European competitions next season. That’s why, despite the strong courtship, Thiaw is leaning towards saying “No, thank you” to Como’s lucrative offer of around 4 million euros per season, as pointed out by Calciomercato.com.
Milan is waiting for an official and direct communication from Thiaw regarding Como’s offer.
Tare already had a countermove ready in case of the former Schalke 04 player’s departure: go straight to Parma for Giovanni Leoni. The 25 million euros potentially earned from Como would be enough to secure a “yes” from the Emilian club for someone considered one of the best Italian defenders for the future. Now, with Inter lurking again, Tare will have to figure out which paths to take to land the young Italian defender.
