With the progress of the new San Siro project, Milan must decide what to do with the San Francesco area in San Donato, purchased through SportLifeCity for the initial plan of building a new stadium on their own.
What are the options under review by Milan for the San Donato area?
According to gazzetta.it, the club currently has three options: the first is moving, fully or partially, the youth sector from Vismara, an idea also welcomed by Mayor Francesco Squeri.
The second is a new project with a sports base but more focused on commercial and entertainment activities. The third is selling the land. In the coming months, the club’s management, together with the Municipality, will evaluate all options while keeping an eye on the TAR ruling, which could reset the process completely.
