Carlo Pellegatti, a well-known sports journalist and longtime Milan fan, spoke about Massimiliano Allegri’s team after their 2-2 draw at Parma in the last league round, in a video posted on his YouTube channel. Pellegatti wants to look at the positive side for the Rossoneri ahead of the upcoming matches.
"I have great optimism. An optimism that might seem paradoxical at this moment after the draw at Parma. But I am optimistic because I trust the kestrel. Allegri is the 'kestrel', this low-flying bird of prey that occasionally strikes and finds its target. The 'kestrel' has given us an appointment in March. We must stay close. We are currently in third place, two points behind. And think about it: we are just two points from the top after playing for a month, from the October break to the November break, without Christian Pulisic and Adrien Rabiot," Pellegatti said.
"And if you look at it, here is my optimism: from mid-September to mid-October, with a midfield of Youssouf Fofana, Luka Modrić, and Rabiot, Milan recorded three wins and a draw against Napoli, Juventus, and Udinese, conceding only one goal. Now Rabiot and Pulisic are back. How can you not be optimistic with the kestrel, who sets a target for March, and with the derby approaching, where Rabiot and Pulisic will play together? Look at the statistics, and you will share my optimism for our boys," the journalist concluded.
