This afternoon Catanzaro faced Reggiana, winning 2–0, with one of the goals scored by former Rossoneri youth player Mattia Liberali. However, there was bad news for the Calabrian side: in the 18th minute of the first half, Alphadjo Cissé had to be substituted due to an injury he sustained during a collision in play, affecting the inner thigh area.
He had stopped once at first but wanted to try to continue and stay on the field. A few minutes later, however, he went down again and asked to be replaced. The extent of the injury and recovery time are still to be assessed, but it is certainly not good news for the home team or for the Rossoneri, who have held his registration rights since this January transfer window.
