A new chapter has opened in the Milan-André saga, a seemingly endless negotiation that appears to have taken new turns in recent hours. The Rossoneri club had initially reached an agreement with Corinthians (and with the player) for around €16 million to bring the young midfielder to Italy.

Milan, deal for André put on hold
Club president Osmar Stabile, however, halted everything by vetoing the transfer, considering the offer too low, a decision also influenced by the angry reaction of the fans. Milan could have appealed to FIFA to rely on the preliminary agreement already reached and potentially take the matter to court, but instead chose to effectively suspend the deal, which had reached a complete standstill.
Milan-André: is everything reopening?
According to 'ESPN Brasil', though, the Rossoneri have made a move in recent days. From their headquarters, they are said to have submitted a new offer to Corinthians, slightly increasing the bid to around €18 million plus €4 million in bonuses, for a total of €22 million, achievable through both individual and team success by André.
Now the ball is in the Brazilian club’s court. They are in no rush to respond (the offer reportedly arrived about a week ago), but a decision one way or another is expected. André’s contract runs until December 2029. Since being promoted to the first team, he has made 28 official appearances and scored 4 goals, as pointed out via Milan Press.
