Peppe Di Stefano, a Sky Sport correspondent and sports journalist, spoke about the current situation of Massimiliano Allegri’s Milan.
Here is a brief excerpt of his view:
“This week I witnessed Massimiliano Allegri’s incredible managerial handling. He was coming off a 3-0 defeat, something he had only experienced twice before in his career as a coach. Surrounded by rumours, criticism, and pressure, Max cancelled a day off for the team only to effectively give them a day and a half instead. In my opinion, his management has been remarkable. He brought the squad together at Milanello, didn’t attack them; instead, he took responsibility, explaining that he had made the mistake by changing the tactical system against Udinese. He didn’t raise his voice, but rather almost reassured and supported the group. Max knows how to communicate, he knows how to guide a team to the Champions League.”
