AC Milan trained seriously again today in preparation for Sunday’s important away match against Verona. At Milanello, everyone is well aware of how crucial the clash at the Bentegodi is, especially as it comes just before the direct showdown with Juventus: it would be best to arrive there in the strongest possible condition, both in terms of league standing and morale.
There was also a moment to celebrate the timeless Luka Modric.
According to Milannews, the midfielder was awarded today at Milanello by former Rossoneri player Dario Šimić as Croatia’s Player of the Year. It is the thirteenth consecutive time Modric has received the award from the Croatian Football Federation: notably, he was voted for by his fellow Croatian players. Even at 40, Luka is still at the very top.
