Massimiliano Allegri was clear yesterday: qualifying for the next Champions League makes all the difference financially. €100 million is the figure estimated by the coach, which shifts the transfer market one way or the other. To invest it, another 6 points are still needed.

Allegri’s directive: high-quality reinforcements, not many youngsters, and a 25-man squad
The Italian coach has met several times with the management in recent weeks and has set out the plan to build an ambitious and competitive AC Milan for next season. The priority is to focus on high-quality reinforcements, not on numerous young players who can complete the squad but cannot be its backbone. One addition is needed in each department, to bring the squad to at least 25 players. Investments should be targeted at players familiar with Serie A and international competitions. No gambles this time, as pointed out via Milan Press.
€100 million in the summer with Champions League qualification: three targets for Allegri's AC Milan:
The three names put forward by La Gazzetta dello Sport today follow the direction set by Allegri. For defence, Mario Gila of SS Lazio is mentioned; for midfield, Leon Goretzka of Bayern Munich (who scored a brace yesterday); and for attack, Alexander Sørloth of Atlético Madrid. The latter is, however, an alternative to other names such as Serhou Guirassy of Borussia Dortmund, Gonçalo Ramos of Paris Saint-Germain, or Nicolas Jackson, whose card is owned by Chelsea FC and is currently on loan at Bayern Munich. In addition, at least one high-quality wide player is needed.
