Massimiliano Allegri, the Rossoneri coach, after the heavy defeat in Reggio Emilia against Sassuolo, a match lost 2–0 by Milan, spoke to Milan TV to analyse the game. His statements.
Today, was it only down to incidents or is there something else?
“Let’s say that after four minutes we conceded a goal, then the sending-off, then the goal at the start of the second half which should not have been conceded. It was an unfortunate Sunday. Now we need to, calmly, get back to work from Tuesday, knowing that we’ve already used up one of our ‘wildcards’.”

We must not undo what has been done so far...
“We need to look at the positive side of things. If we had been told that with three matches to go we would have a 3 or 6 point advantage over fifth place, we would have been happy."
Allegri added:
"We need to analyse what happened today, and resume work with a sense of responsibility.”
Is destiny in our hands?
“Absolutely yes, but it’s not a matter of tables, it’s a matter of winning matches: we have had a very bad second half of the season.”
