The AC Milan sporting director Igli Tare spoke to DAZN in the pre-match coverage of Sassuolo–Milan. All his statements:
On Sassuolo’s Koné:
“Certainly he is a player who has had an excellent season with Sassuolo, like the whole team. He is a player with certain characteristics and he is also familiar with high levels, because in France he has played important matches. He could be a transfer-market player for Sassuolo.”
Another meeting with Allegri this week… are all parties aligned for the future?
“Absolutely yes. We have this routine almost every week; we have lunch together or a meeting at Casa Milan with the coach and Furlani. We are in agreement on what we need to do for next season and on what this team is missing.”
Allegri said that next year Comotto and Camarda will return to the club. Is there an intention to rebuild that Italian core?
“Absolutely yes, but I also think there is excellent work being done regarding players coming from the Milan youth sector. There are very good players who have trained with the first team during the season: we are paying close attention to this.”
Do you also discuss the possibility of the team playing with different systems?
"Yes, also. Taking into account the characteristics of players who could allow the team to play in a different way. It will be an important season; we must try to present ourselves with a quality team but also with a team that can play in different ways."
