Supporters’ frustration with AC Milan’s ownership is growing. In recent hours, the Rossoneri fanbase has launched an online petition calling for an imminent change at the top of the club’s hierarchy, specifically targeting Giorgio Furlani. The initiative, which began on social media, is quickly gaining support: compared to earlier in the afternoon when signatures stood at 3,000, the total has now reached 10,000.
The Rossoneri supporters petition reads the following:
“The management of Giorgio Furlani in his role as Chief Executive Officer of AC Milan currently represents one of the main obstacles to the club’s sporting and identity development.
The approach adopted appears rigidly focused on financial logic, with a systematic subordination of the sporting area to budgetary requirements. This approach, far from ensuring balance, has led to a progressive weakening of the competitive vision, transforming a historically ambitious club into an organisation perceived as lacking a clear sporting direction.
In light of these findings, Giorgio Furlani’s continued presence at the helm of the club no longer appears sustainable.
His management is now perceived as incompatible with the needs of sporting revival and with the historical values of AC Milan.
For this reason, a firm demand is made for an immediate change in the club’s leadership and for the resignation of the current Chief Executive Officer.”
