In AC Milan’s list for next year’s attacking options there is also the name of Alexander Sørloth, the centre-forward of Atlético Madrid who, after a season in which he was mainly used as backup striker behind the Álvarez–Griezmann duo, would like to change clubs because he wants to play more regularly. The Rossoneri have been following him for some time, but of course qualification for next season’s Champions League is essential to convince him to accept Milan’s offer.
This is reported this morning by Corriere dello Sport, which explains that Sørloth is a profile in line with Max Allegri’s requirements: physically strong (he is 1.95 metres tall), a penalty-box striker, with a good goalscoring instinct, and capable of linking play well with the team from a technical point of view. His valuation is at least €25 million.
