The Italian newspaper 'Il Quotidiano Sportivo' headlines this morning:
"Allegri at a crossroads: revolution against Atalanta. And up front, it’s Gimenez’s moment."
On Sunday against Atalanta at San Siro, Max Allegri will make several changes to the starting line-up compared to the previous match against Sassuolo. One of the new developments will be in attack, where after several months Santiago Gimenez is expected to start (the last time was at the end of October 2025, also against the Bergamo side).
The Mexican striker is still without a goal in this Serie A campaign (his last league goal dates back a year ago against Bologna).
