Fabrizio Romano, in a video published on his YouTube channel, commented on the rumours of SSC Napoli being interested in Rafael Leão:
"In recent hours, there have been rumours about Napoli’s possible interest in Rafael Leão. It is possible that Napoli could look for a wide attacker, but at the moment it is difficult to name transfer targets when it is still unclear whether sporting director Manna will stay, and whether Conte will remain as manager. This is a period in which Napoli need to focus on their internal organisation before thinking about the transfer market.
At the moment, there is nothing between Leão and Napoli. The possibility of the Portuguese player leaving AC Milan this summer is not something I can rule out, because it will be a summer of changes at Milan, both at management level and within the squad. But as things stand today, I have no information about Leão and Napoli, so for now we should put this discussion aside."
