Gianluca Di Marzio, the well-known Italian journalist, spoke to Sky Sport as usual about the future of AC Milan’s executives:
“I’m not certain that Massimiliano Allegri will remain on the Milan bench. Clearly, he has one additional year on his contract that becomes active in the event of Champions League qualification. Looking at the numbers, that amounts to €11 million net, around €22 million gross. So either he leaves with a severance package, I can’t see Allegri leaving while still having two years left on his contract, and I can’t see him being sacked either, but it also depends on who makes the decisions. Igli Tare is out; and even in this case, I’m not sure how much constantly changing sporting directors solves the situation. It’s not official, but the signs point that way. As for Giorgio Furlani, there’s a question mark, and for Zlatan Ibrahimović, there’s also a question mark.”
