Massimiliano Allegri has already found a new home and will be the new coach of Napoli. According to transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, an agreement has been reached between the coach and Aurelio De Laurentiis’s club. The former Milan manager is ready to sign a two-year contract. He was the first choice for the Neapolitan side, even before the coach was dismissed by Milan last Monday.
The news of the agreement reached between Allegri and Napoli for a two-year contract has a fairly significant impact for Milan and especially for its finances. The coach still has a contract in place with the Rossoneri until 2027, worth around 5.2 million net per season, approximately 9 million gross, as pointed out via Milan News.
Therefore, Allegri will free himself from his contract with Casa Milan in order to sign with the Neapolitan side and, at the same time, the Rossoneri club will save several million that would otherwise have been wasted.
