Four days have passed since the statement in which RedBird abruptly dismissed Max Allegri, Giorgio Furlani, Igli Tare, and Geoffrey Moncada. As of today, there are many names, hypotheses, and a few rumours, but still no official confirmation regarding the successors for these four very important positions.
Naturally, the one causing the biggest stir is the manager’s role, with the dream of Andoni Iraola seemingly destined to collapse because of Crystal Palace. In recent hours, however, a new possible name has emerged, mentioned by journalist Carlo Pellegati and reportedly backed up by further indications: Matthias Jaissle, a German coach born in 1988, who has been at Al-Ahli since 2023, writes Milan News.

Milan, who is Jaissle: he worked with Rangnick:
In their recent history, Milan have already crossed paths with Matthias Jaissle: it was during the 2022/2023 Champions League campaign, when the Rossoneri faced Salzburg in the group stage, coached precisely by the German.
A difficult 1-1 draw in Austria in the first leg was followed by a clear 4-0 victory at San Siro in the return match, decisive for qualification to the next round. Jaissle is a lead that could gather momentum: he was coached by Rangnick during his Hoffenheim days and later met him again while managing Salzburg, when Rangnick himself was Head of Sport and Development Soccer for the Red Bull group.
In Austria, despite his young age, he won two league titles and one domestic cup. Since 2023 he has been at Al-Ahli, the club of Franck Kessie, where he has won the Asian Champions League twice as well as a Saudi Super Cup. At present, he is under contract until 2027, meaning that if Milan wanted him they would have to pay a release clause.
