After the four sackings all at once last Monday, Milan still have to make the first concrete move in their Cardinale- and Ibrahimović-backed revolution and rebuilding project, with the support of Calvelli. As of today, there are three names for the Rossoneri bench: Jaissle, Glasner, and Pochettino. All candidates who, to varying degrees, are linked to the possible appointment of Ralf Rangnick as director of Milan’s entire technical area.
Three men are competing for the Milan bench, according to what QS wrote this morning, with the headline reading exactly: “One seat for three.” The three candidates are Jaissle, Glasner, or Pochettino. The newspaper continues by mentioning them one by one in its subheading, writing:
"If Rangnick arrives, Jaissle is the favourite for the Rossoneri job ahead of Glasner and Pochettino."
Meanwhile, the other Italian clubs are making moves: Allegri is heading to Napoli, the Giuntoli-Sarri partnership is being reunited in Bergamo, and Italiano is saying goodbye to Bologna.
