This morning, QS at the newsstands published a full report card on the Serie A season. Ratings and assessments were given to the various protagonists of the Italian league campaign that ended last weekend, both the positive and the negative ones.
Among the latter were several representatives of AC Milan, who finished the season in disgrace and squandered the Champions League status they had worked so hard to build. One player who was completely failed was Pervis Estupiñán, who received a rating of 4 out of 10.
Nothing different was expected: QS gave Pervis Estupiñán a very telling 4/10 rating. There had been hopes that his goal in the derby against Inter Milan might mark a turning point in his season, but in the end it was essentially the only real highlight of what proved to be a completely misguided signing. The written verdict stated:
“Almost €20 million invested, a contract running until June 2030, and the extremely burdensome label of Theo Hernández’s heir. Neither attacking drive nor defensive solidity: the Colombian was a flop, apart from the goal in the derby that created false hope. Overtaken by Bartesaghi, he is now expected to leave.”
