Speaking on Radio Tutto Napoli, Monica Colombo, a journalist for the Corriere della Sera, commented on AC Milan's future head coach:
"I would be surprised if Milan were to go for Vincenzo Italiano, because that would mean abandoning the corporate strategy set by Gerry Cardinale. The direction seems to be to entrust the project to a technical director such as Ralf Rangnick and a coach chosen by him, such as Oliver Glasner or, more likely, Sebastian Hoeneß."
In recent days, there has been speculation that Adrien Rabiot could have a future away from AC Milan and might follow Massimiliano Allegri to Napoli:
"Knowing Allegri, he will do everything possible to bring a trusted player of his to Napoli. If André-Frank Zambo Anguissa leaves, Rabiot's name is more than just a possibility. However, it would be a complicated negotiation. It is not in Milan's interest to keep in the dressing room a player who is so closely tied to Allegri, but they certainly will not give him away at a discount."
