In the last few hours, rumours have emerged about a strong interest from Roma in Christian Pulisic, the Milan winger who is currently at the World Cup with the United States. Journalist Alfredo Pedullà, in a video on his YouTube channel, gives an update on the situation.
Roma-Pulisic | The latest:
"Based on the rumours that have come out about Pulisic, I would like to add something. It is true that two weeks ago Pulisic’s agent contacted Roma. He asked about any possible availability for his client, who has a contract due to expire, with an option, but they have not discussed a renewal and there are significant figures involved. He is coming off a very, very delicate second half of the season, if not a very, very disappointing one. Tomorrow morning he will be up well before 4 a.m.: he will make his debut with Pochettino in charge of the United States. He has recently returned to scoring in a friendly match and Roma have taken note. Pulisic is liked, he has not been ruled out, just as Nkunku was liked in January.
As far as I know, Pulisic is on a shortlist of three names, in third place. One can easily imagine, without needing much imagination, who is at the top of the list: Greenwood. A difficult deal, but we will see. And in third place on this list is Pulisic. We will see later what he says with Milan and what Milan can manage to fit into their relationship with Pulisic, especially regarding the wishes of the player himself, who has spoken positively. We will see whether those are just polite comments or whether there is a desire to change scenery.”
